Covid-19 Updates

Kaiser Permanente wants to keep you updated with the latest COVID-19 Vaccination news and how they will continue to cover their California members regarding COVID-19 vaccines, PCR and home antigen testing.

Updated COVID-19 Vaccination Schedule

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have taken steps to simplify the vaccination schedule for most individuals.

The FDA has also authorized the current bivalent vaccines to be used for all doses – whether for primary vaccination or boosters – administered to individuals 6 months of age and older. The monovalent Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines are no longer authorized for use in the United States. Kaiser Permanente will immediately cease vaccination with the monovalent vaccines.
