UnitedHealthcare Plan Participants:
If you are traveling outside of the United States, coverage is generally limited to emergency medical services. Please seek immediate care if you are experiencing a medical emergency.
The following conditions are not typically considered emergencies:
- Common cold or flu symptoms
- Minor earaches
- Mild sore throat
- Routine medication refills
- Minor rashes
- Stable chronic conditions
Please note that if you require care for one of the conditions listed above while traveling internationally, the services may not be covered under the plan.
